Established as a Joint Venture with an Australian company in 1976, PT Bakrie Building Industries (BBI) is currently one of the pioneers of building materials manufacturers in Indonesia which delivers Total Building Solution for domestic and international market. Today BBI is well known as a producer of high quality building materials such as fiber cement roofing, ceiling and partition, as well as wood substitution products. Supported by experts in building material industry and a vast network of 80 loyal distributors, BBI is set to be a forefront solution company in innovation, energy efficiency and environmental protection.
Total Building Solution
- Roofing (Harflex): fiber cement based product with various sizes and shapes ie. Harflex Mini, Harflex Super, Harflex Genteng and Harflex Sirap.
- Ceiling and Partition (Versa Board): calcium silicate panel with various sizes and thickness, manufactured with autoclave process.
- Mortar (Versa Mortar): instant mortar with strong adhesive power.
- Flooring, Fascia and Siding (Versa Wood): Flooring, Fascia and Siding (Versa Wood): wood substitution solution used for floor, siding, eaves fascia, fence and other wood applications. Made from a mixture of cement, silica and imported cellulose fiber; suitable for various interior or exterior building needs and available in various size, thickness and pattern.
- Prefab House (BBI Prefab): pre-fabricated house solution with the concept of modular growing house.
Trading and Distribution
BBI subsidiary, PT Bangun Bantala Indonesia, performs trading, distribution and construction activities of high quality building material products from Japan and Southeast Asia, with products ranging from gypsum, roofing, Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC), electrical lightings, to prefab bathroom.
