In the first semester of 2026, PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (“BNBR” or “the Company”) recorded net revenue of IDR 2.59 trillion, an increase of IDR 814.69 billion (45.84%) compared to the IDR 1.77 trillion revenue recorded in the same period of the previous year. The Company also achieved an operating profit of IDR 301.53 billion in the first semester of 2026, up by IDR 222.84 billion (283.21%) from the IDR 78.68 billion recorded in the same period of the previous year.

“We are grateful that the Company was able to record positive growth amidst uncertainty and persistent volatility in global economic conditions. This serves as tangible proof that the strategies, resilience, adaptability, and hard work of the entire team are beginning to yield results,” stated Anindya N. Bakrie, President Director & CEO of BNBR, on Friday (August 28, 2026).
Anin added that the Company’s net revenue increase of IDR 814.69 billion (45.84%) was driven by revenue growth across several business units. These included the PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (“BIIN”) Group, which saw revenue rise by IDR 450.76 billion (256.1%) due to the consolidation of PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (“CCT”); the PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (“VKTR”) Group, with an increase of IDR 232.58 billion (56.2%); and the PT Bakrie Metal Industries (“BMI”) Group, with an increase of IDR 120.96 billion (10.2%).
BNBR Rights Issue Completed in Late July 2026
BNBR Deputy President Director & Co-CEO A. Ardiansyah Bakrie announced that the Company successfully issued new shares through a rights issue (Capital Increase with Pre-emptive Rights) in late July 2026. The funds successfully raised from the rights issue amounted to IDR 4.76 trillion.
Business Unit Performance Achievements
Furthermore, Ardi Bakrie added that during the first semester of 2026, several BNBR business units achieved impressive results.
The PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (“BIIN”) Group recorded net revenue of IDR 626.78 billion, an increase of IDR 450.76 billion or 256.1% compared to the same period in the previous year (IDR 176.02 billion). This increase resulted from the full consolidation of PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (“CCT”) in 2026.
The PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (“VKTR”) Group posted net revenue of IDR 646.61 billion, up by IDR 232.58 billion or 56.2% compared to the same period in the previous year (IDR 414.03 billion). This growth was driven by increased EV sales and higher sales at the PT Bakrie Autoparts (“BA”) Group.
Meanwhile, the PT Bakrie Metal Industries (“BMI”) Group recorded net revenue of IDR 1.3 trillion, an increase of IDR 120.96 billion or 10.2% compared to the same period in the previous year (IDR 1.18 trillion). This rise was supported by revenue growth at BMI Parent (up 37.5%), PT Bakrie Construction (“Bcons”) (up 33.6%), and PT Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (“SEAPI”) (up 15.1%).
Outlook
Meanwhile, BNBR Director Roy Hendrajanto M. Sakti stated that, supported by an increasingly robust financial structure, a strategic infrastructure portfolio—including toll roads and other infrastructure such as pipeline networks for oil and gas transport—and expansion into future-oriented industrial sectors like transport electrification and sustainable energy, BNBR is optimistic about achieving sustainable growth while delivering added value to shareholders and supporting national development. “However, the company recorded a decline in net profit primarily due to external factors—specifically the rise in floating rates affecting CCT interest expenses—particularly during the initial years following the acquisition, when the interest expense component remained relatively high,” said Roy.
