Economist of the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef) Aviliani mentioned two eras during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely the new normal era or new normality and the future or post-covid-19.

“So there will be two eras later, namely the new normal era, with the covid-19 vaccine not yet found. After that, there was also the post-covid-19 era, with the pandemic completely over, ”he said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

He considered that the new normal era still took a year to two years until a covid-19 vaccine was found and the pandemic had completely ended. Thus, a change in behavior is needed, especially in the business sector.

“The society has started to change in the last two months. So if they can adjust to the needs of the community or consumers, maybe their sales will improve in the new normal era. I want to say that the new normal cannot automatically improve like it was before the Covid-19 period, “he added.

He did not deny that the business world would be divided into those that would survive and those that would be crushed in the new normal era.

“The business world will be divided, there are business worlds that will survive or survive and they will even be more advanced than before. But there is also a business world that cannot keep up with the new environment so that they will be knocked out, “he concluded.
