Gubernur DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung menyatakan kesiapannya untuk mulai mengganti armada truk sampah berbahan bakar solar dengan truk sampah bertenaga listrik pada 2026. Pengadaan truk sampah bertenaga listrik itu sebagai bagian dari upaya menekan polusi udara di ibu kota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKalau bisa truk sampahnya adalah dari listrik, tetapi compacter dan bisa untuk air lindinya tidak kemana-mana, saya akan meminta untuk pengadaan di tahun 2026 kita mulai dengan truk sampah dari listrik,\u201d kata Pramono dalam acara Townhall Meeting di M Bloc, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa (10\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pramono menyampaikan, kebijakan ini penting agar upaya pengendalian polusi udara di Jakarta selaras. Ia menilai, tidak masuk akal jika pemerintah berupaya menekan emisi, tetapi masih mengandalkan truk sampah yang justru menjadi sumber polusi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMasa kita mengatasi persoalan polusi dengan truk sampah itu kita menambah polusi sendiri. Gak bisa. Dan mobil itu harus diubah,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saat ini, Jakarta masih mengoperasikan ribuan unit truk sampah yang hampir seluruhnya menggunakan bahan bakar solar. Sementara itu, jumlah truk sampah listrik yang dimiliki Jakarta masih sangat terbatas, yakni di bawah 10 unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pramono menjelaskan, salah satu kendala utama dalam penggunaan truk sampah listrik adalah karakteristik armada pengangkut sampah di Jakarta yang mayoritas merupakan truk compactor dengan beban sangat berat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProblemnya adalah hampir semua truk sampah itu compact. Berat banget. Butuh energi yang besar. Maka kalau secara listrik bisa, saya akan perintahkan untuk mulai dengan listrik,\u201d kata Pramono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Persoalan Air Lindi<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ia juga menyinggung persoalan air lindi yang kerap menetes dari truk sampah hingga menimbulkan keresahan warga karena meninggalkan bau busuk. Kondisi tersebut, baru-baru ini terjadi khususnya di fasilitas pengolahan sampah Plant Rorotan, Jakarta Utara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAir lindinya yang menetes-menetes tadi, itulah yang menjadi sumber utama yang sekarang salah satu yang diresahkan yang ada di Rorotan,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saat ini, kata Pramono, Pemprov DKI Jakarta telah melakukan penyesuaian kebijakan pengangkutan sampah ke Rorotan dengan menggunakan truk-truk baru keluaran 2024\u20132025.\n\n\u201cJakarta sekarang ini memang untuk peristiwa Rorotan atau sebenarnya kemudian merubah kebijakan yang harus diambil. The procurement of electric garbage trucks is part of an effort to reduce air pollution in the capital. “If possible, the garbage trucks will be electric, but compact and can handle the leachate without going anywhere. I will request that we start procuring electric garbage trucks in 2026,” Pramono said at a Townhall Meeting at M Bloc, South Jakarta, Tuesday (February 10, 2026). Pramono stated that this policy is crucial to ensure that efforts to control air pollution in Jakarta are aligned. He believes it makes no sense for the government to strive to reduce emissions while still relying on garbage trucks, which are themselves a source of pollution. “If we address the pollution problem with garbage trucks, we’re only adding to the pollution.
