Wakil Menteri Investasi dan Hilirisasi\/BKPM Todotua Pasaribu membeberkan proyek hilirisasi akan berimplikasi pada murahnya harga listrik energi baru terbarukan (EBT). Hal itu terjadi jika pabrik pembuatan pembangkit EBT juga dibangun di dalam negeri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Todotua mengungkapkan, proyek hilirisasi bisa mendukung terbangunnya pabrik rantai pasok pembangkit EBT. Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) contohnya, pabrik panel surya bisa terbangun dalam negeri sebagai implikasi dari proyek hilirisasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Maka kalau umpama kita bisa membuat pabrik solar cell-nya di sini dan kita men-support pabriknya itu menciptakan solar cell, solar panel yang kompetitif maka akan berimpact terhadap harga ekonominya,\" kata Todotua di sela acara Sarasehan 100 Ekonom Indonesia di Menara Bank Mega, Jakarta, Selasa (28\/10\/2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adapun, harga jual listrik hasil pembangkit EBT dinilai menjadi tantangan utama dalam program transisi energi dalam negeri. Sejatinya, sumber EBT dalam negeri sangat beragam, namun yang potensinya dinilai besar adalah energi surya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Ada beberapa green energy yang cukup murah itu seperti tenaga air, pembangkit listrik tenaga air. Tetapi kan source-nya limit. Hal yang lain seperti potensi kita, kita punya potensi 3700 gigawatt selain dari air, itu juga ada dari tenaga surya itu yang terbesar,\" imbuhnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adapun, untuk mengembangkan PLTS dalam negeri, saat ini pemerintah tengah mendorong program PLTS desa dengan kapasitas total mencapai 100 GW. But these sources are limited. Another factor is our potential. We have 3,700 gigawatts of potential, besides hydropower, and solar energy is the largest,” he added. Meanwhile, to develop domestic solar power plants (PLTS), the government is currently promoting a village solar power program with a total capacity of 100 GW. This is also considered to make the price of the electricity generated more economical. “Therefore, we must support this.
