Menteri Perindustrian Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita mengatakan Indonesia sedang mengalami masa sulit perekonomian hingga daya beli rendah yang berdampak bikin susah industri otomotif. Meski begitu dia menyebut situasi ini cuma 'numpang lewat' dan otomotif akan bangkit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Ini yang saya sampaikan dari awal, ini kita lihat sebagai masa transisi dan kita sangat optimis bahwa ini hanya numpang lewat saja, hanya sebentar saja,\" kata Agus saat membuka Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 di Tangerang, Kamis (24\/7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Bahwa ekonomi Indonesia akan segera pulih, pasar akan segera kelihatan, dan ketika momentum itu datang, industri otomotif kami harapkan telah siap untuk terbang tinggi. Dengan progresi yang lebih kuat, efisien dan tentu berdaya saing tinggi,\" katanya lagi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Menurut dia industri otomotif di dalam negeri kuat lantaran ada kebijakan soal penggunaan konten lokal atau TKDN. Dia menganggap TKDN memperkuat struktur biaya, membuka peluang pengembangan industri komponen dalam negeri dan mengurangi ketergantungan impor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kemenperin, kata Agus, mengapresiasi Gabungan Industri Kendaraan Bermotor Indonesia (Gaikindo) yang menyelenggarakan GIIAS. Pameran otomotif tahunan terbesar di Indonesia ini disebut menjadi komitmen nasional mendukung Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Di bawah kementerian, kami sangat apresiasi Gaikindo telah membuktikan dirinya sebagai mitra strategis dan mitra terpercaya bagi pemerintah, baik itu dalam masa-masa sulit, seperti Covid, maupun dalam masa-masa lain,\" ucap Agus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ia juga menekankan pentingnya menjaga stabilitas iklim usaha agar sektor otomotif tetap menjadi andalan penciptaan lapangan kerja di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perintah Jangan Ada PHK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Agus juga menegaskan tidak boleh ada pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) di tengah masa pemulihan ini. Ia menyampaikan hal tersebut langsung kepada para pelaku industri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \"Ini perintah kali ini Pak, dan saya sudah sampaikan juga kepada para pelaku industri otomotif ketika saya bertemu, bahwa jangan ada PHK, jangan ada PHK.
