Dewan Energi Nasional (DEN) memproyeksikan puncak emisi karbon di Indonesia akan terjadi pada tahun 2035 mendatang. Oleh sebab itu pemanfaatan sumber energi fosil perlu dioptimalkan mulai dari sekarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sekretaris Jenderal Dewan Energi Nasional (DEN) Djoko Siswanto mengingatkan agar target produksi minyak 1 juta barel per hari (bph) tidak bergeser dari yang sebelumnya ditetapkan pada 2030 menjadi 2032. Sebab di dalam beberapa skenario yang disusun, pemerintah menargetkan pemanfaatan Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) pada 2060 mencapai 70%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Sementara 70% tadi kita mau EBT, maka orang lebih banyak nanti investasinya ke energi baru terbarukan. Padahal kita butuhnya itu sekarang. Sampai nanti Indonesia emas di 2045. Menurut Djoko, mengenai puncak emisi tersebut, pemerintah telah menuangkannya ke dalam pembaruan peraturan pemerintah tentang kebijakan internasional. Hal tersebut termuat di dalam draf Rancangan Peraturan Pemerintah (RPP) Kebijakan Energi Nasional (RPP KEN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Djoko menyebut pada saat Indonesia emas 2045, Indonesia sudah mulai sepenuhnya akan menggunakan EBT.
