PT Pertamina (Persero) dan Bakrie Group bersinergi membangun Nusantara Sustainability Hub di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). Melalui kemitraan strategis antara Bakrie Group dan Pertamina, Nusantara Sustainability Hub akan mewadahi berbagai penelitian yang akan dilakukan oleh International Institute of Sustainability Indonesia (IISI), untuk pengembangan pusat riset dan fasilitas pendidikan energi berkelanjutan kelas dunia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pembangunan Nusantara Sustainability Hub diawali dengan peletakan batu pertama (groundbreaking), yang secara simbolis dilakukan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, di wilayah Ibu Kota Nusantara, Rabu 5 Juni 2024. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh Plt. Kepala Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara Basuki Hadimuljono, Direktur Utama Pertamina Nicke Widyawati, CEO Bakrie & Brothers Anindya Bakrie, Direktur Utama anak usaha Pertamina PT Patra Jasa Ray S.M Daulay, Direktur Utama Bakrie Center Foundation Jimmy Gani, serta mitra strategis lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Presiden Joko Widodo menyampaikan dukungan penuh kemitraan dengan berbagai lembaga internasional yang berfokus pada berkelanjutan, sebagai upaya keterbukaan pemerintah dalam menyambut kolaborasi di Ibu Kota Nusantara. Kehadiran Presiden ini masih sehubungan dengan Penandatanganan Joint Statement of Collaboration yang ditandatangani di Stanford University mengenai rencana kerja sama penelitian di bidang riset di sektor keberlanjutan Indonesia, disaksikan di hadapan Presiden Joko Widodo pada November 2023 lalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cInvestasi di IKN ini adalah program masa depan karena yang namanya transformasi ekonomi, ekonomi hijau, energi hijau itulah yang akan kita kembangkan disini. Saya sangat mengapresiasi dan menghargai, dibangunnya Nusantara Sustainability Hub oleh kerjasama Pertamina, Bakrie dan perusahaan lainnya. Yang akan menarik nantinya, perusahaan yang lain, universitas yang lain, bisa bekerja sama disini sehingga menjadi sebuah showcase riset negara kita dan pengembangan ekonomi hijau di negara kita,\u201d kata Presiden Joko Widodo dalam sambutannya saat Ground Breaking Nusantara Sustainability Hub di IKN, Rabu, 5 Juni 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kolaborasi antara Pertamina dan Bakrie Group ini meliputi pengembangan infrastruktur shared-hub di wilayah strategis Edutown IKN, serta berbagai penelitian yang mencakup aspek keberlanjutan, seperti penelitian mineral kritis berbasis kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence) untuk mendukung transformasi eksplorasi sumber daya berkelanjutan. Kedua aspek tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama yang terjalin di antara Pertamina dengan Bakrie Group selalu mengutamakan komitmen terhadap upaya mewujudkan pembangunan dan pengelolaan sumber daya yang berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dalam hal ini, Pertamina turut melibatkan Anak Perusahaan Portofolionya, PT Patra Jasa yang berperan dalam mengembangkan Nusantara Sustainability Hub tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nicke Widyawati mengungkapkan bahwa Pertamina melalui Patra Jasa akan membangun Nusantara Sustainability Hub secara bertahap, untuk mengembangkan aspek sustainability di IKN, sekaligus menghadirkan pusat riset dan inovasi bertaraf internasional di bidang keberlanjutan dan teknologi rendah karbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKami berharap, Nusantara Sustainability Hub ini bisa menjadi wadah untuk berbagai inisiasi, brainstorming, serta pengembangan berkelanjutan yang melibatkan berbagai pihak. Pada akhirnya Pertamina berupaya mewujudkan energi ramah lingkungan yang akan dimanfaatkan secara optimal di IKN. Anindya Bakrie, selaku CEO dari Bakrie & Brothers menyampaikan bahwa dengan kemitraan Indonesia dengan Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, IISI akan menjadi cikal bakal sekolah keberlanjutan pertama di Indonesia dan berperan penting dalam mempromosikan Nusantara IKN sebagai Silicon Valley Hijau di Asia Tenggara. IISI dan Nusantara Sustainability Hub juga diharapkan akan menjadi bagian dari perjalanan transformasi Indonesia tidak hanya dari sisi fisik, tetapi juga mindset, yang dapat menjadi tonggak peradaban baru di Indonesia, yang makmur, adil, dan berkelanjutan.
