Menteri Perhubungan RI (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi mendorong percepatan atas pengembangan bus listrik sebagai transportasi publik di perkotaan sebagai upaya mengurangi kemacetan dan polusi udara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sehingga, sejumlah tantangan dalam pengembangan aspek tersebut perlu segera diselesaikan. Seperti, kurangnya komitmen pemerintah daerah serta kurangnya sarana dan prasarana kesiapan armada bus listrik (charging station).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKementerian Perhubungan selalu memprioritaskan pengadopsian transportasi yang rendah emisi dan peningkatan kualitas udara,\" katanya dalam ketererangan tertulis pada acara Sustainable E-Mobility Event: Upscaling Bus Electrification Nationwide, Selasa (21\/5\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Budi mengatakan, pemerintah pusat serius mengembangkan kendaraan listrik, salah satunya dengan menerbitkan Peraturan Presiden (Prepres) Nomor 79 Tahun 2023 tentang Percepatan Program Kendaraan Bermotor Listrik Berbasis Baterai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Atas dasar itu, Kemenhub sedang menyusun Peta Jalan Implementasi E-Mobility untuk program transportasi massal berbasis BRT di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah peluncuran angkutan perkotaan dengan skema pembelian layanan (buy the service\/BTS) menggunakan armada listrik di dua kota, yaitu Bandung dan Surabaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Program lainnya adalah angkutan umum di dua kota, yaitu Medan dan Bandung, yang implementasinya akan menggunakan bus listrik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Menurut saya, salah satu komponen yang perlu diperhatikan dalam kendaraan listrik adalah baterai. Karena itu, saya berharap ITDP (Institute for Transportation and Development) atau pihak-pihak lain yang berkepentingan bisa melakukan riset bagaimana cara mendapatkan baterai dengan harga yang terjangkau,\u201d kata Budi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, ia juga menerima hasil studi ITDP Indonesia soal \"Peta Jalan dan Program Insentif Nasional Elektrifikasi Transportasi Publik Perkotaan Berbasis Jalan\" untuk mendukung akselerasi elektrifikasi bus di perkotaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Studi ITDP merekomendasikan 11 kota prioritas untuk percepatan elektrifikasi transportasi publik, yakni Jakarta, Semarang, Pekanbaru, Batam, Medan, Bandung, Surabaya, Denpasar, Yogyakarta, Bogor, dan Padang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, a number of challenges in developing this aspect need to be resolved immediately. For example, the lack of local government commitment and the lack of facilities and infrastructure to prepare electric bus fleets (charging stations). “The Ministry of Transportation always prioritizes the adoption of low-emission transportation and improving air quality,” he said in a written statement at the Sustainable E-Mobility Event: Upscaling Bus Electrification Nationwide, Tuesday (21\/5\/2024). Budi said that the central government is serious about developing electric vehicles, one of which is by issuing Presidential Regulation (Prepres) Number 79 of 2023 concerning the Acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Program. On this basis, the Ministry of Transportation is currently preparing a Roadmap for E-Mobility Implementation for the BRT-based mass transportation program in Indonesia. One of the efforts made is the launch of urban transportation with a buy the service (BTS) scheme using electric fleets in two cities, namely Bandung and Surabaya. Another program is public transportation in two cities, namely Medan and Bandung, which will be implemented using electric buses. “In my opinion, one of the components that needs to be considered in electric vehicles is the battery. Therefore, I hope that the ITDP (Institute for Transportation and Development) or other interested parties can do research on how to get batteries at an affordable price,” said Budi. On this occasion, he also received the results of the ITDP Indonesia study regarding the “Road Map and National Incentive Program for Road-Based Urban Public Transport Electrification” to support the acceleration of bus electrification in urban areas. The ITDP study recommends 11 priority cities for accelerating the electrification of public transportation, namely Jakarta, Semarang, Pekanbaru, Batam, Medan, Bandung, Surabaya, Denpasar, Yogyakarta, Bogor and Padang.
