PT Braja Mukti Cakra (BMC), salah satu unit usaha yang dimiliki oleh PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk. (BNBR) yang merupakan _joint venture_ dengan PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian (KTB), yang bergerak di industri manufaktur komponen otomotif, meresmikan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) Atap, di Bekasi, Jawa Barat, Selasa (26\/9\/2023). PLTS Atap dengan kapasitas sebesar 317.7 kWp (kilowatt-peak) ini nantinya akan mampu memproduksi energi listrik hingga 434 MWh (megawatt-hour) per tahun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wakil Direktur Utama BNBR A. Ardiansyah Bakrie mengatakan, pembangunan PLTS Atap di pabrik BMC ini merupakan komitmen BNBR dan didukung penuh oleh KTB untuk mewujudkan transisi ke arah bisnis yang lebih hijau, berkelanjutan _(sustainable)_ dan ramah lingkungan. Hal ini semakin mendesak di tengah isu polusi udara akibat emisi gas CO2 yang melanda beberapa kota di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Direktur Utama PT Helio Synar Energi (Helio) Ronald Nehemia Sinaga mengatakan, perusahaan saat ini tengah gencar membangun pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) untuk skala utilitas _(utility-scale)_ dan _commercial & industrial_ (C&I). Sebagai kontribusi awal mewujudkan dekarbonisasi industri, Helio akan segera memasang PLTS Atap di pabrik-pabrik lainnya, setelah sebelumnya sukses di pabrik PT Braja Mukti Cakra (BMC). Helio juga berkolaborasi dengan unit bisnis Bakrie Group lainnya untuk mengembangkan kawasan industri net-zero emission untuk melayani pabrik dan fasilitas manufaktur yang membutuhkan banyak energi listrik dengan memanfaatkan energi surya dan bayu\/angin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
