Perjanjian Pendahuluan (Head of Agreement\/HoA) antara ketiga pihak ditandatangani oleh Direktur Keuangan, SDM, dan Manajemen Risiko PT INKA Andy Budiman, Direktur Utama VKTR Gilarsi W. Setijono, dan Direktur Pemasaran PT Barata Sulistyo Handoko, di Gresik, Jawa Timur, Kamis (15\/9\/2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Direktur Keuangan, SDM, dan Manajemen Risiko PT INKA Andy Budiman mengatakan, ketiga perusahaan yang baru melaksanakan penandatangan HoA tersebut sepakat berkolaborasi mengembangkan komponen otomotif terutama untuk kendaraan listrik dalam rangka menciptakan ekosistem industri komponen kendaraan listrik. Ruang lingkup kerja sama ketiga perusahaan tersebut meliputi, pengembangan komponen otomotif terutama untuk kendaraan listrik, pengujian performansi dan durability komponen otomotif hasil pengembangan bersama serta implementasi komponen hasil pengembangan dalam kendaraan listrik. \u201cUntuk tahap pertama kolaborasinya akan diimplementasikan pada transportasi bus listrik yang dibuat oleh PT INKA (Persero),\u201d kata Andy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PT INKA (Persero) mendukung Perpres Nomor 55 Tahun 2019 tentang Percepatan Kendaraan Bermotor Listrik Berbasis Baterai (Battery Electric Vehicle) dan sedang memproduksi 53 unit bus listrik, dimana 30 unit di antaranya akan digunakan untuk transportasi KTT G-20 dan setelah KTT G-20 akan dioperasikan semuanya oleh Perum DAMRI di Bandung dan Surabaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTKDN pada bus listrik generasi pertamanya, PT INKA (Persero) sudah mencapai 42% dan pada tahun ini telah mencapai 60% TKDN dan selanjutnya sedang ditingkatkan melalui kerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi yang mengikutsertakan industri lokal dalam pembuatan bus listrik,\u201d ujar Andy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Direktur Utama VKTR Gilarsi W. Setijono menegaskan tujuan dibentuknya kerja sama strategis ini, yaitu mewujudkan ekosistem transportasi berbasis listrik dengan memadukan kompetensi serta sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing pihak. \u201cNantinya, kerja bareng kami difokuskan pada 4 hal, yakni riset dan pengembangan; co-manufacture; repower atau konversi kendaraan konvensional menjadi listrik; dan pengembangan ekosistem yang berkelanjutan (sustainable ecosystem),\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurut Gilarsi, dalam hal riset dan pengembangan, para pihak terbuka untuk berkolaborasi dengan perusahaan atau universitas baik yang telah bekerjasama dengan INKA maupun VKTR. Para pihak juga secara bersama-sama menjadi manufaktur (co-manufacture) mulai dari bentuk proses desain hingga manufaktur komponen-komponen mekanik maupun elektronik untuk transportasi listrik. Dalam hal konversi kendaraan konvensional menjadi kendaraan listrik (repower) kerja sama akan dilaksanakan dalam hal proses konversi serta desain dan manufaktur komponen-komponen yang dibutuhkan. \u201cDalam hal pengembangan ekosistem berkelanjutan, kerja sama akan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pengadaan transportasi berbasis listrik yang lebih ramah lingkungan untuk sejumlah destinasi wisata \u2013 target utama kami antara lain area Sarangan, Bromo, Borobudur dan Dieng,\u201d jelas Gilarsi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sementara itu, Direktur Pemasaran PT Barata Indonesia (Persero), Sulistyo Handoko, menyambut positif  kerja sama tersebut. Sebagai perusahaan manufaktur nasional, Barata Indonesia memiliki kapasitas manufaktur dengan kelengkapan infrastuktur di berbagai industri. Tidak hanya itu saja, Barata Indonesia juga siap mendukung kebutuhan industri transportasi nasional dengan TKDN yang tinggi. Kolaborasi ini juga dinilai akan menciptakan produk subtitusi impor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dKami terus berinovasi dalam pengembangan kompetensi produk casting untuk menghasilkan berbagai jenis produk komponen industri yang berdaya saing dan bisa mensubtitusi komponen impor. Perusahaan ini telah menandatangani kerja sama strategis dengan sejumlah pihak, di antaranya produsen kendaraan listrik terkemuka dunia BYD Auto, produsen baterai ramah lingkungan asal Inggris BritishVolt, perusahaan karoseri Tri Sakti, perusahaan teknologi heavy mobility dari Inggris Equipmake, Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) dan beberapa lainnya. The scope of the cooperation between the three companies includes the development of automotive components, especially for electric vehicles, testing the performance and durability of automotive components that were jointly developed as well as the implementation of components developed in electric vehicles. &#8220;For the first phase, the collaboration will be implemented on electric bus transportation made by PT INKA (Persero),&#8221; said Andy. PT INKA (Persero) supports Presidential Decree No. 55 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of Battery-Based Electric Vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicles) and is currently producing 53 units of electric buses, of which 30 units will be used for transportation at the G-20 Summit and after the G-20 Summit. all of them will be operated by Perum DAMRI in Bandung and Surabaya. &#8220;TKDN in its first generation electric bus, PT INKA (Persero) has reached 42 percent and this year it has reached 60 percent TKDN and is further being improved through collaboration with universities that involve local industries in the manufacture of electric buses,&#8221; said Andy. On the same occasion, Gilarsi W. Setijono emphasized the purpose of the establishment of this strategic partnership, namely to create an electricity-based transportation ecosystem by combining the competencies and resources of each party. \u201cLater on, our joint work will be focused on 4 things, namely research and development; co-manufacturing; repower or conversion of conventional vehicles into electricity; and sustainable ecosystem development,&#8221; he explained. According to Gilarsi, in terms of research and development, the parties are open to collaborating with companies or universities that have collaborated with INKA and VKTR. The parties also jointly become co-manufactures ranging from the form of the design process to the manufacture of mechanical and electronic components for electrical transportation. In the case of converting conventional vehicles to electric vehicles (repower), cooperation will be carried out in terms of the conversion process as well as the design and manufacture of the required components. &#8220;In terms of sustainable ecosystem development, cooperation will be carried out in the form of providing electricity-based transportation that is more environmentally friendly for a number of tourist destinations &#8211; our main targets include the Sarangan, Bromo, Borobudur and Dieng areas,&#8221; explained Gilarsi. Meanwhile, Sulistyo Handoko welcomed the collaboration positively. As a national manufacturing company, Barata Indonesia has a manufacturing capacity with complete infrastructure in various industries. Not only that, Barata Indonesia is also ready to support the needs of the national transportation industry with a high TKDN. This collaboration is also considered to create imported substitute products. \u201cWe continue to innovate in developing the competence of casting products to produce various types of industrial component products that are competitive and can substitute for imported components. We welcome this collaboration not only to bring benefits to businesses, but also to contribute to the progress of the national manufacturing industry,&#8221; said Sulistyo. The company has signed strategic partnerships with a number of parties, including the world&#8217;s leading electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Auto, the British environmentally friendly battery manufacturer British Volt, the Tri Sakti car body company, the British heavy mobility technology company Equipmake, Politeknik Negeri Surabaya (PENS), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and several others.
