PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (VKTR), anak perusahaan PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) yang bergerak di bidang industri elektrifikasi transportasi dan ekosistem telematika, hari ini melakukan penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman (MoU) tripartit dengan PT Transjakarta dan perusahaan Inggris yang bergerak di bidang pengembangan dan penyediaan electric powertrain solutions, Equipmake Limited. Penandatanganan dilakukan oleh Direktur Utama PT Transjakarta, M. Yana Aditya, Direktur Utama PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas, Gilarsi W. Setijono, dan founder sekaligus CEO Equipmake Limited, Ian Foley, di Jakarta, Kamis (18\/8\/2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gilarsi mengatakan, penandatanganan MoU ini dilakukan untuk mewujudkan komitmen VKTR dalam mengakselerasi penggunaan EV dan pembangunan ekosistem kendaraan berbasis listrik di Indonesia. Di tahap awal, kerjasama ini akan menghasilkan purwarupa (prototype) bus \u2018retrofit\u2019, sekaligus menjadi awal dalam pelaksanaan program uji coba bus \u2018retrofit\u2019 oleh PT Transjakarta. \u201cKerjasama ini menetapkan Transjakarta sebagai pihak yang menyediakan bus konvensional dengan motor bakar (ICE \u2013 Internal Combustion Engine) bagi VKTR. Bus konvensional ini kemudian direkayasa melalui proses konversi oleh VKTR menjadi bus berteknologi motor listrik,\u201d kata Gilarsi kepada wartawan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gilarsi menambahkan, sebagai bentuk keseriusan VKTR dalam upaya penguasaan teknologi dan pengembangan kendaraan listrik tanah air, pihaknya telah berinvestasi secara langsung di Equipmake Limited. Diketahui, perusahaan yang berpusat di Snetterton, Norfolk, Inggris ini bergerak di bidang teknologi pengembangan dan penyediaan electric powertrain untuk berbagai jenis kendaraan listrik. \u201cBersama Equipmake, kami akan memproduksi bus retrofit yang akan digunakan dalam uji coba yang diperkirakan akan berlangsung selama tiga bulan kedepan ini,\u201d kata Gilarsi lagi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
VKTR nantinya akan melakukan pendataan terkait performa kendaraan; mencakup efisiensi energi, jarak tempuh, serta kualitas dan kinerja baterai. VKTR juga akan menyediakan infrastruktur pengisian listrik yang diperlukan untuk mendukung pengoperasian bus retrofit tersebut. \u201cKami berharap kerja sama strategis ini akan berjalan lancar, dan secara bertahap semua bus konvensional yang ada di Jakarta dapat dikonversi menjadi bus listrik. Direktur Utama PT Transjakarta M. Yana Aditya mengatakan, pihaknya menyambut baik kerja sama strategis ini. Gilarsi said the signing of this MoU was carried out to realize VKTR’s commitment to accelerating the use of EVs and the development of an electric-based vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia. VKTR will later collect data related to vehicle performance; includes energy efficiency, mileage, and battery quality and performance. VKTR will also provide the necessary electricity charging infrastructure to support the operation of the retrofit bus. “We hope that this strategic cooperation will run smoothly, and gradually all conventional buses in Jakarta can be converted into electric buses. In this way, we can help accelerate the achievement of the ideals of clean air and a healthier environment in the capital,\u201d said Gilarsi. President Director of PT Transjakarta M.
