Acara ini ditandai dengan penyerahan bus listrik merek BYD type K9 oleh Direktur Utama PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Gilarsi W. Setijono kepada Direktur PENS Aliridho Barakbah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gilarsi mengatakan, berdirinya EV Innovation Lab ini merupakan tindaklanjut dari nota kesepahaman yang telah ditandatangani kedua pihak, yang menyepakati sejumlah langkah strategis untuk mewujudkan kerjasama di bidang penelitian, pengembangan, dan inovasi teknologi elektrifikasi transportasi. \"Kerja sama antara VKTR dan PENS ini nantinya akan bermuara pada tiga hal: pengembangan komponen telematika dan mekatronika, repowering bus dan angkot dari mesin bensin menjadi listrik, dan pengembangan teknologi motor listrik,\" tutur Gilarsi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam hal pengembangan telematika, lanjut Gilarsi, VKTR bersama PENS akan melakukan studi secara mendalam terhadap aspek telekomunikasi dan informatika yang ada di dalam kendaraan listrik. Sedangkan dalam hal mekatronika, studi akan banyak difokuskan kepada aspek teknik mesin, teknik listrik dan perangkat lunak yang ada di dalam kendaraan listrik. \u201cDari studi tersebut, insyaAllah ke depannya kita akan mampu mengembangkan aspek telematika dan mekatronika dari kendaraan listrik secara mandiri,\u201d ujar Gilarsi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kerjasama ini juga menjangkau studi yang akan memungkinkan VKTR dan PENS membangun industri yang mampu mengonversi alat transportasi publik dari mesin berbahan bakar energi fosil menjadi kendaraan listrik. \u201cBersama PENS kita juga akan mengembangkan teknologi motor listrik. Salah satunya dengan menghadirkan motor listrik yang memiliki teknologi self-balance, sehingga jauh lebih nyaman dikendarai dibanding motor yang sudah ada selama ini,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Direktur PENS, Aliridho Barakbah, S.Kom, Ph.D menyambut baik kerja sama ini. Kolaborasi dengan VKTR menjadi terobosan yang akan membantu membangun budaya inovasi di kampusnya. \"Kami berupaya untuk terus membangun budaya inovasi di PENS. Sesuai tema Dies Natalis PENS ke-34 yaitu Edukasi, Kreasi dan Sinergi menuju Kampus Inovasi, kerja sama ini menjadi bentuk nyata menjaga semangat PENS sebagai Kampus Inovasi. Kerja sama ini menjadi awal yang baik dari upaya menciptakan satu ekosistem yang saling mendukung dalam elektrifikasi transportasi di Indonesia secara jangka panjang dan berkelanjutan, oleh perguruan tinggi dan industri,\" tutur Aliridho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pengembangan pusat riset dan inovasi di bidang elektrifikasi transportasi antara PENS dan VKTR ini akan secara aktif melibatkan mahasiswa PENS dalam proses riset dan inovasinya. Ke depannya PENS dimungkinkan untuk mendirikan program studi mengenai elektrifikasi transportasi. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi pada bidang ini, sehingga dapat mendorong dan mempercepat pembangunan EV factory dan EV infrastructure di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Perjalanan Bus Listrik Jakarta - Surabaya<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (VKTR) mendatangkan 1 unit bus listrik merek BYD tipe K9 di Kampus PENS. Bus dengan panjang  12 meter, lebar 2,5 meter, dan tinggi 3,3 meter ini dikendarai via tol transjawa, dari Jakarta menuju Surabaya, dengan penumpang sebanyak 9 orang. \u201cUnit bus ini akan menjadi salah satu perhatian utama dari penelitian yang akan dilakukan oleh Tim Peneliti PENS ke depan,\u201d jelas Gilarsi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam perjalanannya, bus ini menempuh jarak kurang lebih sejauh 796 kilometer. Sepanjang perjalanan, bus melakukan penambahan daya (recharging) sebanyak 2 kali, yakni di Kantor PLN Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah dan PLN Ngawi, Jawa Timur. \u201cDalam kondisi baterai penuh, bus ini mampu menempuh jarak 200 hingga 250 kilometer di dalam kota dan 400 hingga 500 kilometer di tol dengan kecepatan rata-rata 50 km\/jam. Kami berterima kasih kepada pihak PLN yang telah mendukung penuh perjalanan bus listrik ini, sehingga lancar dan selamat sampai tujuan,\u201d tambah Gilarsi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gilarsi mengatakan, karena masih minimnya stasiun pengisian daya, dalam perjalanannya bus listrik ini dikondisikan untuk hanya berjalan dengan kecepatan maksimal 70 km per jam. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menghemat daya baterai. \u201cProses penambahan daya bus listrik ini membutuhkan waktu sebanyak 3 hingga 4 jam, dari kondisi 0 persen hingga 100 persen. Durasi charging-nya akan lebih singkat jika kondisi batere di atas 50 persen saat dilakukan penambahan daya. Jadi, jika stasiun pengisian kendaraan listrik sudah banyak tersedia sepanjang tol Transjawa, saya yakin perjalanan akan lebih menghemat waktu,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jalin Kerja Sama dengan Pelbagai Pihak<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebelumnya, VKTR telah menandatangani kerjasama strategis dengan sejumlah pihak. Antara lain produsen bus listrik terkemuka dunia BYD Auto, produsen baterai ramah lingkungan asal Inggris BritishVolt, perusahaan karoseri Tri Sakti, perusahaan teknologi heavy mobility dari Inggris Equipmake dan sejumlah pihak lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurut Gilarsi, kerja sama dengan pelbagai pihak, dari produsen kendaraan listrik, produsen baterai, manufaktur, hingga lembaga perguruan tinggi memang menjadi salah satu cara yang ditempuh oleh VKTR demi keinginan untuk melakukan lokalisasi teknologi. \u201cKita ingin memastikan, ekosistem elektrifikasi transportasi di Indonesia dibangun secara lengkap dan tidak setengah-setengah, dari hulu hingga ke hilir. Kita membangun tidak hanya fasilitas pembuatan badan busnya saja, tetapi kita pikirkan juga bagaimana fasilitas pembuatan sasis dan teknologi mekatronika serta hal-hal lainnya,\u201d ujar mantan Dirut PT Pos Indonesia tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Gilarsi mengatakan, ke depan pihaknya yakin bahwa teknologi dan industrialisasi kendaraan listrik di Indonesia akan berkembang sangat cepat. \u201cKami telah menyiapkan sejumlah rencana untuk terus memperluas kemitraan dengan pihak-pihak yang memiliki keahlian berbeda, Hal ini kami lakukan untuk memastikan penguasaan teknologi yang tepat untuk pasar Indonesia. Kami juga akan memperluas jangkauan produk VKTR ke daerah-daerah lain selain DKI Jakarta. Meanwhile, in terms of mechatronics, the study will mostly focus on aspects of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and software in electric vehicles. &#8220;From this study, God willing, in the future we will be able to independently develop the telematics and mechatronics aspects of electric vehicles,&#8221; said Gilarsi. This collaboration also includes studies that will allow VKTR and PENS to build an industry capable of converting public transportation from fossil fuel-fueled engines to electric vehicles. \u201cTogether with PENS, we will also develop electric motor technology. One of them is by presenting an electric motor that has self-balance technology, so it is much more comfortable to drive than the existing motorbikes,&#8221; he explained. The Director of PENS, Aliridho Barakbah, S.Kom, Ph.D. welcomed this collaboration. Collaboration with VKTR is a breakthrough that will help build a culture of innovation on campus. &#8220;We strive to continue to build a culture of innovation in PENS. The development of a research and innovation center in the field of transportation electrification between PENS and VKTR will actively involve PENS students in the process of research and innovation. In the future, it is possible for PENS to establish a study program on electrification of transportation. This aims to prepare human resources who have competence in this field, so that they can encourage and accelerate the development of EV factories and EV infrastructure in Indonesia. Jakarta &#8211; Surabaya Electric Bus Trip PT VKTR Mobilitas Technology (VKTR) brought 1 unit of electric bus brand BYD type K9 at the PENS Campus. The bus with a length of 12 meters, a width of 2.5 meters and a height of 3.3 meters is driven via the Transjawa toll road, from Jakarta to Surabaya, with 9 passengers. &#8220;This bus unit will be one of the main concerns of the research that will be carried out by the EEPIS Research Team in the future,&#8221; explained Gilarsi. On the way, this bus covers a distance of approximately 796 kilometers. Along the way, the bus recharging 2 times, namely at the PLN Pekalongan Office, Central Java and PLN Ngawi, East Java. \u201cIn a full battery condition, this bus can cover a distance of 200 to 250 kilometers in the city and 400 to 500 kilometers on the highway with an average speed of 50 km\/hour. We thank PLN for fully supporting this electric bus journey, so that it can reach its destination smoothly and safely,&#8221; added Gilarsi. Gilarsi said, due to the lack of charging stations, during its journey the electric bus was conditioned to only run at a maximum speed of 70 km per hour. This is done to save battery power. \u201cThe process of adding power to this electric bus takes 3 to 4 hours, from 0 percent to 100 percent. The charging duration will be shorter if the battery condition is above 50 percent when adding power. So, if there are many electric vehicle charging stations available along the Transjawa toll road, I believe the trip will save more time,&#8221; he explained. Collaborate with Various Parties Previously, VKTR had signed strategic partnerships with a number of parties. These include the world&#8217;s leading electric bus manufacturer BYD Auto, the British environmentally friendly battery manufacturer British Volt, the car body company Tri Sakti, the British heavy mobility technology company Equipmake and a number of other parties. According to Gilarsi, cooperation with various parties, from electric vehicle manufacturers, battery manufacturers, manufacturers, to higher education institutions is indeed one of the ways taken by VKTR for the desire to localize technology. &#8220;We want to ensure that the transportation electrification ecosystem in Indonesia is built completely and not half-assed, from upstream to downstream. We are not only building the facilities for the bus body, but we are also thinking about the chassis manufacturing facilities and mechatronic technology and other things,&#8221; said the former president director of PT Pos Indonesia. Furthermore, Gilarsi said that in the future his party believes that the technology and industrialization of electric vehicles in Indonesia will develop very quickly. &#8220;We have prepared a number of plans to continue to expand partnerships with parties with different expertise. This we do to ensure mastery of the right technology for the Indonesian market. We will also expand the range of VKTR products to areas other than DKI Jakarta.
