Datangnya era kendaraan listrik direspon dengan baik oleh pemerintah dan para pelaku industri otomotif di tanah air. Di Jakarta, hari ini diselenggarakan Uji Coba Bus Listrik Trans Jakarta, yang dipusatkan di halaman Balaikota DKI. Acara dibuka oleh Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, dan dihadiri oleh operator bus Trans Jakarta dan pihak-pihak terkait lainnya. \u201cSaat ini konsumsi BBM kita sekitar 1,6 juta barel per-hari, sedangkan kemampuan produksi minyak nasional saat ini baru di kisaran 760 ribu barel per-hari dan sisanya dipenuhi dari impor. Tentu, ini membebani negara secara signifikan karena besarnya beban subsidi untuk impor migas. Karenanya, apa yang dilakukan pemerintah provinsi DKI Jakarta hari ini dengan mulai memanfaatkan kendaraan listrik sebagai alat transportasi umum, jelas akan mengurangi beban tersebut dan dalam jangka panjang akan membawa dampak positif untuk negara,\u201d kata Bobby menjelaskan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Melalui PT Transportasi Jakarta, pemerintah DKI memang berencana meluncurkan armada bus listrik yang akan digunakan sebagai salah satu moda transportasi kota, melengkapi armada yang sudah beroperasi saat ini. \u201cKami menjadi salah satu mitra dari Trans Jakarta dalam pengembangan armada baru ini,\u201d tambah Bobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PT Bakrie Autoparts, anak perusahaan PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk, memang telah menjalin kerjasama dengan BYD Auto, pabrikan kendaraan listrik terkemuka asal Tiongkok. PT Bakrie Autoparts merencanakan untuk mengembangkan industri bus listrik secara bertahap, yang akan dimulai dengan importasi unit utuh (CBU) dari BYD, kemudian secara bertahap akan melakukan pendalaman struktur industri ini di dalam negeri hingga beberapa tahun ke depan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUntuk tahap awal ini kita memang harus impor, tapi kami yakin proses pengembangannya relatif akan berjalan cepat. Dalam tiga tahun kedepan, local content kami diharapkan dapat mencapai 55%. Langkah kami ini sejalan dengan visi Pemerintah, dimana kemampuan industri pendukung otomotif di dalam negeri secara bertahap harus terus ditingkatkan. Support pemerintah memang mutlak kita butuhkan. Karenanya, kita berharap Perpres untuk kendaraan listrik ini dapat segera terbit. Dengan adanya aturan yang jelas, semua pelaku bisnis di bidang ini pasti akan memacu investasi untuk pengembangan industri mereka,\u201d kata Bobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bobby kemudian menegaskan bahwa pengembangan industri penunjang yang terkait, seperti industri komponen dan suku cadang kendaraan listrik di dalam negeri akan berkembang sejalan dengan program peningkatan TKDN yang telah berjalan, sehingga ketergantungan terhadap impor bisa dikurangi secara signifikan. \u201cKita harus pacu investasi utk peningkatan TKDN ini. Potensi peningkatan komponen lokal kendaraan listrik akan sangat besar,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tidak hanya Trans Jakarta, PT Blue Bird sebagai operator taksi terbesar di Jakarta juga telah memperkenalkan armada taksi listriknya beberapa waktu lalu. \u201cKami yakin, kendaraan listrik akan segera digunakan secara luas di Indonesia dalam waktu dekat. Pemerintah bisa berhemat banyak dari berkurangnya subsidi BBM, dan pada akhirnya masyarakat luas lah yang akan mendapat manfaat terbesar,\u201d lanjut Bobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
