PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (\u201cBNBR\u201d atau \u201cPerseroan\u201d) semakin solid memprioritaskan manufaktur dan infrastruktur sebagai sektor andalan bisnis dalam lima tahun ke depan. Strategi pertumbuhan bisnis ini diterapkan seiring dengan komitmen pemerintah membelanjakan anggaran terbesar pembangunan untuk kedua sektor tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPembangunan infrastruktur sudah mantap menjadi kata kunci bagi pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia ke depan dan BNBR juga melihat opportunity itu. Memang alokasi anggaran belanja infrastruktur saat ini masih tiga persen, tetapi diharapkan beberapa tahun ke depan bisa menembus delapan persen dari total produk domestik bruto, seiring komitmen pemerintah,\u201d kata Direktur Utama PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk, Bobby Gafur Umar dalam paparan publik di Jakarta, Jumat (12\/12). \u201cDi China dan India, alokasi belanja pemerintahnya untuk infrastruktur telah mencapai sekitar 10% dari PDB. Inilah yang memacu pertumbuhan mereka akhir-akhir ini,\u201d katanya lagi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bobby menuturkan, penerapan strategi bisnis di sektor manufaktur dan infrastruktur sesuai dengan semangat revitalisasi bisnis inti Perseroan. Dua tahun terakhir, Perseroan sudah melakukan revitalisasi profil buku. Dalam jangka pendek dan menengah, BNBR akan terus menggenjot pertumbuhan bisnis sektor manufaktur dari anak usaha yang bergerak di industri komponen otomotif yang dijalankan oleh PT Bakrie Autoparts, industri bahan bangunan yang dimotori PT Bakrie Building Industries, serta produk pipa, fabrikasi besi dan baja, konstruksi dan EPC kontraktor yang digerakkan oleh PT Bakrie Metal Industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tiga anak perusahaan di sektor manufaktur tersebut, terbukti mampu memberikan kontribusi hingga 90 persen bagi pendapatan Perseroan. Sedangkan untuk jangka menengah dan panjang, BNBR menyiapkan strategi pertumbuhan bisnis dengan memacu sektor infrastruktur melalui proyek pembangkit listrik Tanjung Jati A yang ditangani PT Bakrie Power, proyek jalan tol Cimanggis-Cibitung yang digarap oleh PT Cimanggis-Cibitung Tollways, dan proyek pipanisasi gas melalui PT Bakrie Oil and Gas Infrastruktur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bobby juga menjelaskan bahwa ke depan nanti, BNBR akan memusatkan perhatian lebih besar pada tiga anak usaha di sektor manufaktur yang sesungguhnya telah dirintis dan dijalankan sejak puluhan tahun silam. Saat ini, kontribusi pendapatan terbesar berasal dari tiga anak usaha tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kinerja keuangan Perseroan juga cukup baik, Direktur Keuangan BNBR, Eddy Soeparno mengatakan, Perseroan mencatatkan laba periode berjalan yang dapat diatribusikan kepada pemilik entitas induk, pada triwulan ketiga tahun 2014. Laba bersih Perseroan pada triwulan III\/2014 mencapai Rp.22,57 miliar, kian membaik dan positif dibandingkan perolehan laba bersih pada kuartal III\/2014 yang tercatat masih minus Rp.750,28 miliar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hingga triwulan III Tahun 2014, pendapatan Perseroan juga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 62%, dengan kontributor utama kenaikan berasal dari PT Bakrie Metal Industries. Di saat bersamaan, beban utang Perseroan juga mengalami penurunan. This business growth strategy is implemented in line with the government\u2019s commitment to spend the largest development budget for the two sectors. \u201cInfrastructure development has become a key word for Indonesia\u2019s economic development going forward and BNBR also sees that opportunity. In the short and medium term, BNBR will continue to boost the growth of the manufacturing sector business from a subsidiary engaged in the automotive component industry run by PT Bakrie Autoparts, the building materials industry led by PT Bakrie Building Industries, as well as pipe products, iron and steel fabrication, construction and EPC contractor which is driven by PT Bakrie Metal Industries. The three subsidiaries in the manufacturing sector proved to be able to contribute up to 90 percent of the Company\u2019s revenue. As for the medium and long term, BNBR prepared a business growth strategy by spurring the infrastructure sector through the Tanjung Jati A power plant project handled by PT Bakrie Power, the Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road project worked on by PT Cimanggis-Cibitung Tollways, and the gas pipeline project through PT Bakrie Oil and Gas Infrastructure. Performance Improved Bobby also explained that in the future, BNBR would focus more attention on three subsidiaries in the manufacturing sector which had actually been initiated and run since decades ago. Currently, the biggest revenue contribution comes from these three subsidiaries. The Company\u2019s financial performance is also quite good, BNBR Finance Director Eddy Soeparno said, the Company recorded profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity, in the third quarter of 2014. The Company\u2019s net profit in the third quarter of 2014 reached Rp.22.57 billion, getting better and more positive compared to net profit in the third quarter of 2014 which recorded a minus Rp.750.28 billion. Until the third quarter of 2014, the Company\u2019s revenue also increased by 62%, with the main contributors to the increase coming from PT Bakrie Metal Industries. At the same time, the Company\u2019s debt burden also decreased.
